How do I create an account?

To create an iStudents account:

  1. Visit the iStudents registration page
  2. Select your role (Student, Parent, Teacher, or Admin)
  3. Fill in your details including name, email, and phone number
  4. Create a secure password
  5. Verify your email address through the link sent to your inbox
  6. If joining an existing school, enter the school code provided by your institution
I forgot my password, what do I do?

If you've forgotten your password:

  1. Click on the "Forgot Password" link on the login page
  2. Enter your registered email address
  3. Check your email for a password reset link
  4. Click the link and follow the instructions to create a new password
  5. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support
How does the 14-day trial work?

Our 14-day free trial gives you full access to all iStudents features:

  • No credit card required to start

Can parents have their own accounts?

Yes, parents can have dedicated accounts with the following features:

  • Communicate with teachers through the messaging system
  • Access is controlled by the school administration for security
How do I upload learning materials?

Teachers can upload learning materials as follows:

  1. Log in to your teacher account
  2. Navigate to the "Learning Materials" section
  3. Click "Upload New Material"
  4. Select the files from your device (PDF, DOC, PPT, images, or videos)
  5. Add a title, description, and select the relevant class/subject
  6. Choose visibility settings (which students can access the material)
  7. Click "Upload" to make the material available to students
Why can't I see my child's results?

If you can't see your child's results, it could be due to:

  • Results haven't been published by the teacher/school yet
  • Your account isn't properly linked to your child's profile
  • There might be outstanding fees that need to be cleared
  • The school may have restricted parent access to certain results
  • Technical issues - try refreshing the page or logging out and back in

If the issue persists, contact your school administrator or our support team.

How do teachers enter marks?

Teachers can enter student marks through these steps:

  1. Log in to your teacher account
  2. Go to the "Results" or "Grading" section
  3. Select the appropriate class and subject
  4. Choose the assessment type (exam, test, assignment, etc.)
  5. Enter marks for each student in the provided fields
  6. Add any comments or feedback if needed
  7. Save the results - you can choose to publish immediately or save as draft
  8. Once published, students and parents can view the results
How do I renew my school subscription?

To renew your school subscription:

  1. Log in to your admin account
  2. Navigate to the "Billing" or "Subscription" section
  3. You'll see a renewal notice 30 days before expiration
  4. Select your preferred payment plan (monthly or annual)
  5. Choose your payment method (card, bank transfer, or mobile money)
  6. Complete the payment process
  7. Your subscription will be automatically renewed
